It is hard to believe that in less than 6 months Josh and I will be completely responsible for a tiny human being. So far it still seems a little unreal. Except for the two times we have heard the heartbeat at the midwife's office, then all goes back to normal. The last half of the first trimester I had a little indigestion, but that is gone and I'm feeling great. Hopefully that continues! It doesn't help reality to set in though. They say that sometime after the 16th week and probably by at least 22 weeks I should be able to feel the baby move. Maybe that will be when it all feels real. We shall see...
We are going to Calgary for Thanksgiving and I can't wait to show my family the little bump! It's tiny but I think it will be a little bigger by then.
Loving life! Loving my husband who is spoiling me and who is sooo excited about the baby! (He claims he can feel it move every time he puts his hands on my belly for the past month! LOL) Loving God who has blessed me with brand new mercies every morning!

Tea Party Game
With only 4 hours of sleep and 2 cups of coffee under my belt I am not sure if I am equipped to handle the Tea Party game today. When the girls said they were going downstairs to play it, I was relieved to think I might actually enjoy a few moments of quiet in this normally very loud household. Imagine my surprise when the noise exceeded the norm! Now I have been told what the Tea Party game is and I think I should share it with those of you who may want to play it yourself!
Preparation: Set the table for tea. Make sure your Marvin Gaye Anthology CD is in the player ready to push play and turn the volume up to MAX! Everyone stand around the table and choose what character you are: witch, spider, ghost, black cat and little black cat. Now you are ready to begin.
From youngest to oldest each player takes a turn "spilling the tea". When the tea is spilt, the play button is pushed and everyone runs around the room chasing the spiller and pretends to beat them up. Scream as loud as you can while you are doing this!
